Which bottles fit
Wurvl fits bottles with an opening of 19 to 23 mm, measured on the inside of the neck. You can measure this yourself with a ruler or a calliper.
That means Wurvl fits most standard PET water bottles and standard wine bottles. Still, measure your bottle to be sure.
How to measure the neck
- Take the cap off the bottle.
- Lay a ruler across the middle of the opening. With a calliper, use the small jaws at the top. They are for inside measurements.
- Measure from inner edge to inner edge.
- Is the measurement between 19 and 23 mm? Then the bottle fits.

Why two identical bottles
Always use two identical bottles. Then both sides of Wurvl sit equally firmly. And all the water from the top bottle fits into the bottom one.
Types of bottle
Below you can see which types of bottle usually fit, and which do not.
- Standard PET water bottlesUsually fits
On most ordinary supermarket water bottles, the opening falls within this range.
- Standard wine bottlesUsually fits
An ordinary wine bottle with a cork neck usually fits too. If in doubt, measure.
- Sports bottles and wide-neck bottlesDoes not fit
A wide opening, as on many Tritan or reusable drinking bottles, is too big for Wurvl Lite.
